She was predeceased by: her son Thomas Pierson; her parents, Stuart Love and Helen Love (Nee Bunker); her sister Josephine Weber; and her niece Jeannie Jacobsen.
She is survived by: her husband Russell E. Pierson; her son Jim Pierson (Cheryl); her daughter-in-law Mary Pierson; her siblings, Kathryn Jacobsen (James) and Jim Love (LeeAnn); and her brother-in-law Linn Weber. She is also survived by grandchildren, 11 adored great grandchildren.
