It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenn H. Thomas Sr. (Lockport, Illinois), who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurogeon Thomas and Bessie Thomas; and his siblings, Virgil, Houston Thomas, Hattie Robertson, Geneva Williamson, Eliza Bell Foster and Ruby Prince.

He is survived by: his wife Wilma Dillard; his children, Carolyn Shepherd, Larry Dillard, Glenn Thomas Jr., Mark Thomas, Michael Thomas, Jacqueline Thomas and Tonya Huff (Troy); his siblings, Annie R. Dirl of Nashville, TN, Jurniece Coley of Knoxville, TN, Willie D. Coley (Dorothy) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Juanita Green of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dolly Jordan of Tuscaloosa, AL and Jerome Coley of Tuscaloosa, AL; and his grandchildren, Doniven Campbell and Darrien Prince. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
