He is survived by: his children, Nathan Smith (Kristen), Sean Smith, David Whittaker (Jori), Glenn Whittaker (Glenda) and Alice Sypien (Ken); his brother Siebert Smith; his grandchildren, Noah Smith, Owen Smith, Lacey Whittaker, Jimmy Whittaker, Charles Whittaker, Samantha Sypien and Zach Sypien; and his nephew Lonnie Jones.
