Genevieve R. Zupancic Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve R. Zupancic of Lockport, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard J. Zupancic; her parents, Julian Bowlan and Clara Bowlan (Nee Sievert); and her brother Edward Bowlan (Betty). She is survived by: her children, Patricia "Patti" Mitrovich (Jay), David Zupancic (Peggy) and Paul Zupancic (Bonnie); her grandchildren, David Zupancic Jr., Michael Zupancic, Abby Frisk (Karl), Tony Zupancic (Natalee), Rachel Bebar (Matt), Kelly Palumbo (Tony), Hannah Mitrovich, Janet Makfinsky (Paul), Brandi Jaakkola, Sara Neilsen (Tye) and Michelle Musial; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Zupancic, Harrison Frisk, Mason, Bryce Zupancic, Nolan Palumbo, Michael, Logan Makfinsky, Jordan, Elizabeth, Jacob Jaakkola, Kathryn Neilsen and Andrew Musial. She is also survived by numerous nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Church, Lockport or Lightways Hospice in Genevieve's name would be greatly appreciated.
