Faye Earlene Wheeler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Earlene Wheeler of Lockport, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Smith (Clugston) and Earl Livingston Smith; her husband Robert Franklin Wheeler; and her son-in-law Phillip Joseph Matarelli. She is survived by: her daughter Judy Lynn Matarelli (Wheeler) of Lockport; her grandchildren, Jill Matarelli Carlson (John) of Greenville, NC and Paul Joseph Matarelli (Zoryana) of Brooklyn, NY; her sister Carol Rae Cook (Smith) of Joliet; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Wheeler and Harriet Opelt (Wheeler). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.
Due to the COVID virus, the burial service for Faye will be invite-only and limited to close family and friends on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Barnet Cemetery in Homer Township at 1:30 p. m., Pastor Jon Pedersen officiating.
