She was predeceased by: her husband Ray West; her sons, Richard Lachowski (March) and David Lachowski (April); and her parents, Guido Schumann and Norma Schumann.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Schumann (Mary Ann), Norma Kay Johnson (Jerry) and Janet Fazio (Richard); the father of her children Christopher Lachowski; and her nieces and nephews, Judi, James, Kimberly, Jerry Jr., Karin and Michael. She is also survived by cousins and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's name to Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church in Lockport, IL, or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
