He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Cerda (Nee Young); his parents, Jesus Cerda and Rita Cerda (Ramos); and his sister Elena Cepeda. He is survived by: his daughters, Rita Lynn Cerda and Jennifer Blair (Isaac); his grandchildren, Camille, Jasmine and Nadia Cerda; and his siblings, Felipe Cerda (Socorro), Sergio Cerda (Joan), Ramona Esquibel (late Joseph), Maria Alvarez (late Javier), Salvador Cerda (Jenny) and Rita Taylor (late Craig).
