He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Steinke and Elaine Steinke (Nee Murphy); and his brother Robert Steinke. He is survived by: his wife Teri Steinke (Nee Reszel); his daughter Brooke (Steve); his pet June; his brother Bruce Steinke (Sandy); his parents-in-law, Richard and Martha Reszel; and his sisters-in-law, Stephanie Steinke, Kathleen Riddell (Scott) and Dori Slattery (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or TLC Animal Shelter.
