It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Stoxen of Lockport, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dorow and Isabelle Dorow; her cousin Roberta Mau; her former husband Ernest W. Wienke; her husband Dr. Paul Stoxen; and her brother-in-law Jack Agazzi.
She is survived by: her daughter Judith (Wienke); her son-in-law Gary Bright; her stepchildren, Susan Morey, Ernest W. Wienke Jr., Wendy Wyss and Dr. James Stoxen; and her sister Jane Agazzi.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Lightways Hospice of Joliet, Shriner's Childrens Hospital, or First Presbyterian Church of Joliet.
