She was predeceased by: her husband John Pekar; her son Jerry Pekar; her parents, George Petrilla and Anna Petrilla (Nee Daniels); her sisters, Betty Vargo (John), Anne Studer (Harvey), Mary Molnar (Louis), Marge Kerwin (Jack) and Helen Graf (Ike); and her sister-in-law Helen Petrilla.
She is survived by: her brother George Petrilla; her daughters, Carol Teiber (Jim) and Shari Novotny (Rick); her daughter-in-law Deanna Pekar; her grandchildren, Lori Johnson (Bob), Jim Teiber (Shannon), Mike Teiber (Megan), Leslie Madson (Kevin), Tyler Pekar (Melissa), Rick Novotny (Andrea) and Joe Novotny (Misty); her nieces, Karen and Holly; and also Teri Szymanski. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Per Barbara's request absolutely no flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated.
