He is survived by: his children, Natalie Schroll (Korey Shotwell) of Morgantown, WV and John Schroll III of Chicago; his father John Schroll, Sr. of Chatham; his granddaughter Harper Kennedy Shotwell; his siblings, Steven Schroll (Anne) of Chatham and Sue Balster (David) of Springfield; his aunt Joyce Sonntag; and his uncle Jim Stoeckel (Janet). He is also survived by two nieces; three nephews, and several cousins.
