Richard left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ollerton and Annabelle Ollerton (Maedge); his brother Gerald Ollerton; and his brother-in-law James Highlander. He is survived by: his sisters, Barb Highlander of Edwardsville, IL and Nancy Blotevogel (Walter) of Worden, IL; his nephews, Walter Thomas Blotevogel of Alhambra, IL and Jason Ollerton of Livingston, IL; and his niece Kelly Ann Albrecht (Ronald) of Worden, IL. He is also survived by four great nieces & great nephews; two great great nephews; & numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lesicko Funeral Home (271 N 2nd St, Livingston, IL 62058). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden, IL.
