He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Robert and Dorothy Mabel Gittings (Dowell); and his granddaughter Katie Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine D. Hillman; his children, Terry Davis of Smithshire, IL, Valerie Huber (Michael) of Seaton, IL, Cecil Gittings (Paula) of Tuttle, OK, Daryl Gittings (Debra) of Allendale, IL and Anthony Gittings (Terri) of Stronghurst, IL; and his brothers, Edward Gittings and Perry Gittings. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; 6 great great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Robert A. Gittings Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
