He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan E. Davies and Bertha Davies (Pratt); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Tieken; his sister Dylis (Maurice McCutchan); and his nephew Brian Davies.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Davies of Monmouth, IL and Angela White (Greg) of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Maria Schmidt (Mike), Courtney Lynch (Nate) and Cody White; his great grandchildren, Laurel Schmidt and Luke Schmidt; and his brother Trevor Davies (Laura) of Little York. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the McGuire and Davies Funeral Home (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Alexis Cemetery (207 N Holloway St, Alexis, IL 61412).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Maple City Baptist Church in Monmouth and can be sent to the funeral home.
