He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Bill" Franzen and Rosezella "Doll" Franzen; his wife Karen Coatney; his daughters, Jennifer Franzen-Ballard (Jeff) of Hazel Green, AL and Sarah Franzen of Normal, IL.; his grandsons, Jeffrey Franzen, Chase Ballard (Jordan) and Matthew Ballard; and his pet Jack.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Methodist Church of Mt. Olive (101 E 2nd N St, Mt Olive, IL 62069). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Methodist Church of Mt. Olive or doing something kind for someone, as doing so was in his very nature.
