He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Schmidt and Wanda L. Schmidt (Sills). He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn J. Chambers (Rusty), Crystal D. Schmidt (Lee Compton) and Cheryl R. Schmidt (Blaze Hardt); his grandchildren, Brendan Chambers of Litchfield and Meghan Chambers (Jake Jurgena) of Litchfield; his brother Allen Schmidt (Kathy) of Belleville, IL; his niece Jennifer Caroll (Schmidt); and his nephew Justin Schmidt. He is also survived by three great nephews and one great niece.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Litchfield Family Funeral Service (700 S State St, Litchfield, IL 62056). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Litchfield Family Funeral (700 S State St, Litchfield, IL 62056).
