He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Burris and Rose Burris (Boyd); his son Orville Dean Burris, Jr.; his grandson Jeffrey Green, Jr.; his sister Opal Weinberg; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Hancock and Marvin Weinberg.
He is survived by: his spouse Mabel Huddelston; his children, Melvina Cook (Jeff), Norma Zeller (Clark Rolland) of Coffeen, IL, Leota Green (Jeff) of Litchfield, IL and Rich Burris (Paula) of Trenton, IL; and his sister Leota Hancock of Fillmore, IL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
