Michael Ernest Stratmeyer Obituary
In loving memory of Michael Ernest Stratmeyer of Litchfield, Illinois, who departed this world on October 29, 2024 at the age of 74. Michael leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. E. H. Stratmeyer and Zonna Stratmeyer (Laird); his sister Carolyn; his father-in-law Darrel E Reller; and his granddaughter Morley Grace Bruhn.
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Reller); his daughters, Lynne Bruhn (Derrick) of Monticello, IL and Kelli Ellinger (Doug) of Litchfield, IL; his granddaughters, Mabry, Mylin Bruhn, Faith and Elysse Ellinger; his sister Marilyn Hobson (Robert) of Hopkinsville, KY; and his mother-in-law Eleanor Reller of Litchfield, IL. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Timothy United Methodist Church (219 E Un Ave, Litchfield, IL 62056). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Michael E. Stratmeyer Agricultural Scholarship Fund or to St. Timothy Soup Kitchen.
