He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Herman and Mary Lucinda Gerdes (Vaughn); and his sister JoAnn Gerdes. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Gerdes (Sharon) of Litchfield and Arlene Gerdes of Litchfield. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews & 9 great-great nieces and nephews.
