He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Young and Marie Young (Peger); his wife Juanita Marie Ferrari; his siblings, Carl Young, Harold Young, LaMarr Young, Ralph Young, Frieda Nail, Clara Urban Mary Bukowatz and Eileen Young; and his great grandchild Desmond Demetrius Tandy.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph A Young (Amber) of Irving, Lamarr R Young of Litchfield, Paula K Melchert (Tom) of Litchfield and Becky S Bergman (Todd) of Litchfield; his brother James Young of Litchfield; and his grandchildren, Patrick Young (Tina), Shawnee Tandy (Isaiah), Cheyenne Rogers (Levi), Shane Green, Joshua Young, Jordan Young, Tommy Melchert (Danielle) and Jonathan Melchert (Rheanne).
