He is survived by: his wife Nona Hohnsbehn (Furlow) of Litchfield, IL; his children, John W. Hohnsbehn III (Jessica) of St. Charles, MO, Amy Huntley (Simon) of Highland, IL, Dan Hohnsbehn of O'Fallon, IL, Katie Spengler (Cory) of O'Fallon, IL, Jessica Mielke of East Alton, IL, Becca Hohnsbehn (Zachary Morris) of Benld, IL, Ella Hohnsbehn of Litchfield, IL, Jennifer Kraft (Jeff) of Choteau, MT and Autumn Reed (Josh) of Bethalto, IL; and his siblings, Theresa Smith (Jon) of East Alton, IL and Bruce Hohnsbehn (Shirley) of Bunker Hill, IL.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
