He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Anderson and Louise Anderson (Dorris); his wife Lou Ellen; his stepchildren, Annette Weindel (James) of Arnold, MO and William Werries III (Erin) of Webster Groves, MO; his stepgrandsons, Nick, Jack Weindel, Liam and Lucas Werries; and his sisters, Beverly Carder of Naples, FL, Gladys Hopping and Mildred Ellis.

The family suggests monetary donations be directed to the St. Francis Hospital Foundation or Hearts United.
