She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred William and Bertha L. Scharf (Brave); her husband David Eugene Whiteside; and her siblings, Charles Scharf, Bernadine Lange and Dorothy Scharf.
She is survived by: her son Ron Whiteside (Gay) of Sorento; her stepgrandchildren, Amy Thorpe and Chissy Henning; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Timber Thorpe, Austin Henning and Sierra Henning.
The family suggests memorials be made to HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary or Macoupin Tails in Carlinville.
