He is survived by: his children, Kristal Boerckel of Nokomis, Gary Boerckel Jr. of Litchfield and Scott Boreckel of Litchfield; his grandchildren, Chelsey Boerckel, David Friesland Jr. and Scott Boerckel Jr.; and his stepgrandson Shawn Wesbrook. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
