He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Adolphus and Beulah June Hickerson (Lenington); his wife Mary Louise Claxon; his son Calvin Hickerson; his daughter-in-law Judy Hickerson-Borror; and his siblings, Earl, Raymond Hickerson, Opal Smith, Lela Quigley and Irma Gardner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Hickerson (Barbara) of Cape Coral, FL and Roberta Boehler of Girard, IL; his granddaughter Sherry Bergschneider (Stephanie) of LitchfieldKevin; and his great grandchildren, Michelle Claussen, Michael Claussen (Mark Coulter), Michaela Bergschneider (Eric Gray) and Ashley Hickerson.
Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.
