He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen "Al" Clyde and Betty Jean Hampton (Gooden); and his brothers-in-law, Alan Naughton and Larry Hosto. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael A. Hampton (Shirley) of Litchfield, James W. Hampton of Carlinville, Larry D. Hampton Litchfield, Gloria J. Naughton of Fremont, NE and Susan M. Hosto of Oelwein, IA.; and his significant other Sally Scoggins of Carlinville.
