He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Appelman and Agnes Appelman (Winter); and his brother Daryl Appelman. He is survived by: his sons, Ron Cooper of Normal, IL and Tony Pellhum (Kim Stewart) of Litchfield, IL.; his grandchildren, Laura Cooper, Kathleen Cooper, Taylor Ward, Kaylee Pellhum, Karlie Moore (Adam) and Coltan Wicker; his siblings, Thomas Appelman (Becky) and Dorothy Steinlage (Nick); and his sister-in-law Judy Appelman. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the family of Charles Appelman.
