She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hoins and Freida Hoins (Ahrens); her husband Rev. Rudolph Herbert Schaff, Jr.; and her brothers, Victor, Lavern, Hubert and Leroy Hoins.
She is survived by: her children, Thea L. Hernandez (Art) of Sandwich, IL, Tamara A. Schumacher (Will) of Brentwood, MO, Rudolph H. Schaff, III (Julie) of Westgate, IA, Rachel Bibeault (Bryan) of Enfield, NH, John M. Schaff (Leandra) of Hoyleton, IL, Andrew A. Schaff (Noel) of Chiayi City, Taiwan, Heidi Doering (Mike) of Austin, TX, Stephanie Schaff of Bellevue, NE and Katrina Kumfer (Justin) of Stewartville, MN; and her siblings, Jerome Hoins (Vera) of Shellrock, IA, Wendell Hoins (Ethelyn) of Bellevue, NE, Everett Hoins of Farmington, AR, Leola Westendorf (Joe) of Waverly, IA and Nancy Creekmore (Rex) of Leeds, AL.
