In the vast expanse of eternity, Betty shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betty farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Martin and Ina Fine (Pratt); her husband John Monke; and her son Martin J. Monke. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jamie J. Monke and Richard A. Monke of Litchfield. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and several cousins.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or HSHS St. Francis Hospital.
