He is survived by: his wife Vera Klekamp; his children, Tom Whitsell (Kai) of Battlefield, MO and Karen Collins (Pete) of Springfield, MO.; his brother Roger Whitsell (Cathy) of Rochester, IL; his stepchildren, Delbert Obsorn and Sheila Shields; his grandchildren, Keaton (Marissa Jo Collins), Justin, Marissa (Alexis Shields) and Toni Osborn; and his friend Rev. Mark Harriss.
