Alice left this world on October 25, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Garwood and Cleo Garwood (Oller); her son Darrell Lindsay (James Mehlberg); her grandchildren, Brian Mehlberg and Robin Brown; and her siblings, Norman Garwood, Grace Meier, Nancy Gruen, Jerry Garwood and Lamar Garwood.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lindsay of Rushville, Barbara Thompson of Irving, Steve Lindsay of Vandalia, Lisa Hancock (Terry) of Litchfield, Lou Plowman (Tim) of Concord, David Lindsay (Lisa) of Litchfield and Thomas Lindsay (Lori) of Hillsboro; her stepchildren, Les Lindsay (Sherry) of Tower Hill and Linda Jackson of Tower Hill; and her sister Carol Owens of Witt. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 4:00 PM at the Witt Cemetery (16386 Witt Trail, Witt, IL 62094).
