She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Henry Schmidt; her grandson Lucas Hardt; her great great grandchild Finley Lane; and her brothers, Alfred and Vernon Fuchs.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Wilhemina "Minnie" Fuchs (Holtkoetter), Vernetta Hardt (Lindell) of Litchfield, IL, Arla Mae Luther (John) of Oregon, Anita "Pete" Davis (Ronald) of Litchfield, IL and Kathy Entzenberger (Greg) of Houston, TX; and her grandchildren, Hardt Sachs, Sunnie Gulliver (Bill), Blaze Hardt, Corrie Campbell (Fred), Dusttie Beck (Dan), Christopher Luther (Tina), Eric Luther (Sara), Douglas Luther, Brandie Meyers (A. J.), Ronald Davis, Jr., April Rottmann (Dennis), Ryan Davis (Miranda), Roger Davis (Brittany), Ashley Everett (Dustin), Gretchen Entzenberger and Andrew Entzenberger (Danielle). She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
