She was predeceased by: her daughter Elizabeth Caffey; her husband John Willie Caffey, Sr.; and her siblings, Francis Smith, Hollis Gibson, Jr., Erma Williams, Charles Douglas Gibson, Harriett Steele, Gwendolyn McCreary and Melvin Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, John Willie Caffey, Jr. (Touwanna), Lisa Chevette Scott (Anthony) and Keri Diana Caffey; her grandchildren, Portia Scott, Brandon Scott, Aaliyah Caffey, Brevin Scott, Joshua Caffey, Joseph Caffey and Elizabeth Caffey; and her sister Gloria Clayborne.
