He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth; his sons, Stephen (Marny), Richard (Diane) and Gregory (Lisa); his grandchildren, Nichole and Allyssia Fikac (David); his great grandchild Tessa; and his siblings, Nels and Norman (Marian).

In lieu of flower memorials, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
