He is survived by: his parents, Robert McAuley and JoAnne McAuley (Zumer); his siblings, Daniel McAuley, Meagan Milne (Dave) and Amanda Balsitis; his nieces and nephews, William Milne, Calvin Balsitis, Max Balsitis, Zane Balsitis, Catherine Milne and Evelyn Balsitis; his uncle Lawrence "Unkie" McAuley; and his aunts, Loretta Beinhoff, Joan McAuley, Dorothy Zumer, Sally Zumer and Lorang. He is also survived by cousins, as well as supportive old friends.
