She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edwards and Lucille Edwards; and her sister Charlene Carrie of Mindoro, Wisconsin.. She is survived by: her husband Harold Barnett; her sons, Stephen Roake IV (Jennifer), Christopher Roake (Megan) and Brian Roake (Arin Anderson); her grandchildren, Paris, Jacob, Gillian (Gigi), Lucas, Matthew and Scarlett Roake; and her sister Florence Novak.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Parkinson's Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
