She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Hess; her aunt Michele Vinton; and her uncle Marvin Hess. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Hess; her siblings, William Hess and Grace Hess; her grandmother Eileen Barnes; her aunt Mary Barnes; her uncles, Robert Barnes (Joanna Sutton) and John Vinton; and her cousins, Amelia Wilkemeyer, David Wilkemeyer, Monica Ritz (Stefan), Dean Vinton, Elena Vinton and Anna Beth Vinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation in memory of Isabelle.
