It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Kubo of Lisle, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Kubo and Hideko Kubo (Nishimura). He is survived by: his wife Harriet (Davenport); his sons, Michael Kubo (Neca) and Scott Kubo (Julie); and his grandchildren, Will, Mia and Miles Kubo.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Kubo family kindly requests donations be made in Gary's honor to the American Cancer Society, to support their mission and to provide hope to those affected by the disease.
