She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J. Schauer and Ellie A. Schauer (Rach). She is survived by: her husband Paul J. Curtin; her children, Timothy (Liz Wood), Patrick (Deborah Esquer), Thomas and James Curtin (Veronika Kronstein); her grandchildren, Benjamin (Anne Leonard), Rachael, Sarah, Grace, Katie Kah (Chris Kah) and Christopher (Lissa Renner); and her brother Dr. Jay Schauer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, caregivers, and friends.

“Free from suffering and incapacitation, Gail now enjoys all that Jesus has prepared for his beloved. Comfort and consolation to those Who mourn her passing. Grieving friends, we share dinner to mark Gail's birthday with the angels,, saints, and her beloved, who have waited their reunion. We remember how she sat in silent witness over these years, she and Paul affecting scores of us at prayer, Happy Hours, Gatherings, and just doing what they were meant to do. May we be found doing the same!”
