She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Christensen; her grandchildren, Stacey Minkel and John Kochan III; and her sibling Virg Nawojski (John). She is survived by: her children, Jim Minkel (Vicki) and Kathy Minkel (Nestor Mustafa); her grandchildren, Scott, Dan, Rick Minkel, Kaitlyn, Joseph Kochan, Theresa Kaslin (Mike) and Patrick Mustafa; her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Layla Kaslin; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaron and Amy Nawojski; and also Jerry Nawojski (Sandy).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorrie's name to Dogs of Hilltown (dogsofhilltown.org or P.O. Box 413 Little Elm, TX).
