It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles S. Hanley Jr. of Lisle, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Hanley, Sr. and Beatrice; and his brothers, Richard and Chuck. He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his sister Gertrude Huffman (late Oscar); and his children, Kay Zilka (Ken), Patty Heatherly (Tom), Charlie Hanley, Michael Landers, Katie Day (Patrick), Maura Underwood (Brian) and Tracy Farmer (Tim). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Villa St. Benedict (1920 Maple Ave, Lisle, IL 60532).
