She was predeceased by: her parents, Constantine Kawka and Harriet Kawka (Sokolowski); her son Howard James Palicka; her siblings, Barbara Locke (Alan), Joan Hodges (Mel) and Jerome Kawka (Ruby); and her granddaughter Margaret Palicka.
She is survived by: her children, Donna M. Palicka (John Gleichman), Richard S. Palicka (Linda Williams), Daniel J. Palicka (Gigi Kupsche) and Dr. Gary A. Palicka; her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Palicka-Sarabia, Amy Ehm (Micheal), Phillip Palicka (Megan Small), Anna Palicka and Ona Gleichman; her great grandchildren, Joseph James "JJ" Sarabia and Dalton Ehm; and her brother Thomas Kawka (Bernadette). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers those who desire may make a memorial donation to the American Kidney Fund, in the memory of Bernadette and Howard.
