She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irvin Slone and Joan Slone (Isbell); her sons, Maxwell Barkell and Oliver Barkell; her brothers, Richard Slone and Gary Slone (Nancy Johnson); her nephews, Isaac Debroux-Slone and Tyler Slone (Ciara); her niece Amelia Johnson; her great-nephew Tiernan; and her friend Robin Wold.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the New Light Cemetery (6807 E Prairie Rd, Lincolnwood, IL 60712). A reception was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
