She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Ariel; her children, Ariel Jr. (Helen Lara), Ximena (Larry Spear), Mauricio (Amanda) and Patricia (Frank Menendez); her grandchildren, Brendan, Leonardo and Sophie; her siblings, Susana, Lily, Eduardo (Sonia) and Mario Encinas (late Gaby); her nephew Ramiro Gumucio (Sabine); and her great-nephew Liam.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Queen of All Saints Basilica (6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
