Kyra E. Smith Obituary

We bid farewell to Kyra E. Smith (Lincolnshire, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 4, 2024 at the age of 9. Kyra touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Marta Czerniejewski; her great-uncle Chris Czerniejewski; her great-aunts, Jill Costa and Diane Zientek; and her pets, Bernie and Lady.

She is survived by: her parents, Jason and Cindy; her sisters, Brenna and Audra; her pet Otto Rocket; her grandparents, Joe, Judy Costa, Don and Liz Smith; her aunts and uncles, Lisa, Paul McLafferty, Adele, Phil Green, Mike and Kendra Smith; and her cousins, Amelia Green, Megan, P. J. McLafferty, Angela, Liam, Faith and Conor Smith. She is also survived by many other family members and so many special friends.

From her radiation face mask, to multiple long MRIs without sedation and everything in between, Kyra just matter-of-factly did things.
