She was predeceased by: her sibling-in-law Mort Kalish (late Rose); her parents, Abe Gistenson and Helen Gistenson; and her sister Roberta Field. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Kalish (Buddy); her children, Susan Karlinsky (Sheldon), Howard Kalish (Nancy) and Ronald Kalish; her grandchildren, Aaron Karlinsky (Randi), Marc Karlinsky (Carol Guzman), Matthew, Lucas, Justin, Benjamin and Julia Kalish; her great grandchild Galit Karlinsky; and her siblings-in-law, Shaindel Greenspan (late Mike) and Dodo Bishaf (Morrie).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sinai Chicago (sinai.org) or Hospice of the Valley (hov.org).
