He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Berger and Elsie Fay Berger (Comstock); his siblings, Edward, Willard, Carl, Paul, Leo, Ken and Ruth; and his son-in-law Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Decker; his children, Gail Annette Reeder, Rodney William Berger and Douglas Wayne Berger (Jayne); and his grandchildren, Abigail Light (Matt), Emily Jackson (Bobby), Elizabeth Schmidgall (RC), Anna Berger-Carey (Graham) and Jacob William Berger (Jessica). He is also survived by his nine great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and three foster great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in William's name to Harvest of Talents or Lincoln Christian Church.
