He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shaw and Mabel Shaw (Howard); and his son Errett Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Janet Broz; his sons, Haydn Shaw (Laurie) of Frankfort, IL, Scott Shaw (Kerryn) of Wuhan and Barton Shaw (Irene) of Downs, IL; his siblings, Louise Ridlen of Morristown, TN and Charles Shaw Jr. of Covington, IL; his grandchildren, Barton, Joshua, Maxwell, Katy Beth, Tyler, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Malea, Laynie, Ellie, Rachel and Timothy; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley and Arlow.

Memorials may be made in Wayne's name to Lincoln Christian University.
