With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Bane of Lincoln, Illinois, born in Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on May 18, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Huber and Mary Huber (Lampkin); her husband Lowell Bane; her great grandchild Arby Williams; and her son-in-law Gary Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Bane (Vicki) of Tampa, FL, Joe Bane (Camille) of Arrowsmith, IL, Mary Williams (Charles) of Lincoln, IL and Cathy Miller of Normal, IL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 316 South Logan Street, Lincoln, IL.
