He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis S. "Frank" Sawicki and Joelle Dell Sawicki (Manuel); his brother Mitchell Sawicki; and his pet Tilly. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Sawicki; his children, Ian Sawicki of Seattle, WA, Sam Sawicki of Minneapolis, MN, Zoey Sawicki of Grand Canyon, AZ, Marissa Booth of Ottawa, IL and Mylo Sawicki (Reanna) of Lincoln, IL; and his siblings, Suzanne Sawicki of Decatur, IL, Marty Sawicki (Neva) of Ellijay, GA and Stan Sawicki (Marguerite) of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holland Barry & Bennett (620 Pulaski St, Lincoln, IL 62656). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
